After spending a few years living and teaching in Dallas, Texas, the Brazilian moved to San Diego in 2018 and joined the Atos team, led by Professor André Galvão. In the Atos team, he won his main titles, including the IBJJF Pan American in 2020. He was also champion of the American Nationals, Abu Dhabi Grand Slam and Brazilian Nationals.
